The only thing that remains is to install Squirrelmail. This works more or less directly out of the box. You may have to define several things in the Squirrelmail configuration to suit your needs (hostname, default email server etc.) but we would like to refer you to the Squirrelmail Documentation for that.
To configure squirrelmail:
# cd /etc/squirrelmail # ./conf.pl |
To make the webmail available under https://yourdomain/mail, add this line to the top of /etc/squirrelmail/apache.conf:
Alias /mail /usr/share/squirrelmail |
Nothing special has to be done to make Squirrelmail comply with DISC, because it only interacts with the courier imap server. DiscHosting does create default settings for each new user in the squirrelmail data directory, to make sure the reply email address is set right.
